mark. Magalog 9 Sneak Peek
Summer is just getting started but I'm already looking forward to Fall. Why? Because mark. has some great items coming out in Magalog 9. Here is what I'm looking forward to:
Heal Appeal Platforms, $36:
This is a first-ever pair of mark. heels. They've made shoes in the past but they were flat sandals only. This shoe has a zip-up open-toe heel with braided details and zipper pull featuring two faux leather tassels. It has a 4" heel, 1/2" platform. Available in full sizes 6-10 with no half sizes.
Plaid About You Jacket, $34:
I really love the asymmetrical design on this motorcycle-style jacket. It's also fitted at the waist so it'll be more feminine. I own a dress in burgundy similar to this jacket from Target a few years ago so I'm really digging this style. This cotton jacket has a 3/4-length sleeve so it should be a great transition or fall jacket. Available in sizes S-XXL.
Primed for Perfection Face Primer, $10 (1 oz.):
I'm always on the lookout for a good face primer. They smooth out your skin for optimal foundation application, mattifies your skin, minimizes pores and helps makeup stay on your face longer. This one is being marketed as being a lotion (not like the little gel like Smashbox's Photo Finish primer) containing green tea extract and vitamin E.
No Place to Run Longwear Eyeliner, $8 (0.04 oz):
I'm really hoping these will be similar to the Stila Eye Kajals. mark.'s current Eyemarkers are great in that they glide on smoothly and have a great finish but they aren't smudge/water resistant. Plus, they are very limited in colors. No Place to Run looks like it'll be just like the Eyemarkers, except in more colors and waterproof versions. At less than half the price of the Eye Kajals, I'll be picking these up in one of every color. ^_^
Lipclick Full Color Lipstick, $10 (0.106 oz.):
Mark. already has a lipstick in their line: Dew Drenched which I love since they're moisturizing and light. However, most of the colors are pretty sheer with an exception of a few. The Lipclick is being marketed as a full coverage lipstick with a creamier texture and lightweight feel. It is going retailing for $4 more than Dew Drenched but a little less product. I guess the higher price is for the magnetic case metal case? I'm not sure how I feel about that. In one of our Trendspotter calls, they said Lipclick wasn't going to replace Dew Drenched, however, it looks to be the case since Dew Drenched is being discontinued. :( Lipclick will be available in 8 shades and have the signature cool minty flavor mark.'s lip glosses are known for.
So those are the items I'll be looking forward to in Magalog 9. They also have a few more items I didn't mention above (legging pants, accessories). Mag 9 will be available starting August 13. What do you think about the new items?
