September weather here in Sacramento means the last hurrah for summer. We get to relish the last few weeks of the sun before it gets replaced by clouds, rain and 50-degree weather. While I do enjoy the current temperatures, I can't help but want to start dressing for fall: the rich colors, luxurious fabrics and the need to shave our legs less often. It might stem from be all the cold weather clothes retailers are pushing in stores or the giant issues of September fashion on magazine racks. Unless you're inside an air conditioned building most of the time, wearing warmer clothes will just make you crazy.
So you compromise. September is actually a great time to dress a little bit warmer yet still be able to show your legs. Think layers for the early morning chill that you can peel off throughout the day as the day gets warmer.
How do you dress for September? Do you have a go-to transitional outfit?
