Weekend Makeovers
Over the weekend, I gave my sisters a little makeover. This was all in fun and hopefully, they enjoyed the little girl time we had and were pleased with the outcome.
Nancy was the first to get her makeover done. I had never done Nancy's make up before and usually does not wear make up so I decided to give her a neutral look with a flawless, glowing face. It took her some time getting use to looking at herself with make up on but after a few minutes, she was pleased with the outcome.
I started off by applying mark. get a tint all over Nancy's face to even out her skin. Then, I spot concealed under her eyes and around her nose and mouth using mark. speedway and blended it all out. To set the foundation, I lightly dusted her face with mark. powder buff. Next, I applied Rebel from the mark. Rebel Rose eye shadow quad palette on top of her brow bones. Then, I applied Luvstruck on the first half of her eyelids followed by Saucy on the outer half of her lids and blended. To give her eyes a little more definition, I applied Corset on the outer corner of her lids and blended out. Next, I lined her upper lash line with the mark. eyemarker in jet. Because Nancy has monolids, I made the line a little thicker than usual and smoked it out with the mark. eyeliner brush and to make her eyes really pop, I applied a coat of mark. scanda-lash hook up mascara in blacklash to her lashes.
For Nancy's cheeks, I appled a little bit of mark. good glowing in Star Glo. On her lips, I kept it simple and applied mark. glow baby glow hook up lip gloss in Sweet Talk, a shimmery baby pink gloss.
Here is Nancy's before and after photos:

Cheng, on the other hand, had her make up done by me last summer. However, it was mostly just foundation and concealer and not much of anything else. This time, she gave me full reign. Cheng usually just wears some foundation and concealer and on occassion, eyeshadow so I know she was not afraid of make up. However, she did have a mark. Urban Neutrals Flip For It palette that she hadn't used. I decided to use that on her so she could see what kind of look she could do with it.
Cheng had concerns about about acne scars so I started off with putting some primer on them and then around the nose, forehead and cheek area. I allowed a few minutes for the primer to set then I went ahead and applied the mark. face xpert foundation on her face, followed by some mark. speedway on her scars and then a little mark. good riddance hook up concealer under her eyes, and on top of her scars and blended away. I followed up by setting it with a light dusting of mark. powder buff.
Next, I applied the baby pink color (Metro) from the Urban Neutrals Flip For It all over her eyelid followed by the cocoa brown color (Skyline, also from the flip for it) on the outer two-third of her eyelids. Then, I blended it out. I used the mark. on the edge hook up liquid eyeliner in cleo to apply a very thin line with a little wing at the end to the top of her eyelids. Then, I curled her lashes and applied mark. scanda-lash hook up mascara in black.
For her cheeks, I applied the blush (Urban Glo) that was part of the Urban Neutrals Flip For It on the apple of her cheeks. I finished off her look with a peachy mauve lip color (Ambiance) all over her lips topped with clear sparkly gloss (Moody), all from the flip for it.

I loved doing the little make overs and hopefully I'll get to do more in the future.
