This outfit consists of some of my favorite pieces: tie-neck blouse, necklace, mesh ruffle skirt and a boxy satchel -- and I tend to wear them a lot.  I have worn the blouse at least 2-3 times a month over the past six months.  The skirt alone has made at least two trips with me in my mark. travels: once to New York City last May and once to Dallas this past November. And the satchel, I took it with me to Dallas in November as well.  It was my carry-on and fit way too much stuff including an iPad, water bottle and light blanket.

Speaking of favorites, I had a chance to spend some quality time with some of my favorite people recently: my mom and sisters.  It made me realized just how much I have missed them.  My mom lives about 10-15 minutes away and I've only visited her maybe twice max this month so far.  And my sister, Jenn, she just moved up here a few months ago from San Diego but I feel like I was closer and talked to her more then than I do now.  I'm looking forward to this weekend for some family time - no matter what the circumstance is that brought us together.
