I thought it would be fitting to celebrate the first day of spring with pops of color even though the weather over here is anything but.  Midi length skirts are back in for spring and I personally like the look even though vertically, I should NOT be wearing it.  Midi length skirts have a ladylike retro feel and are work appropriate too (i.e. office setting).  With this particular hot pink shade, it can easily be styled with a lemony yellow top during the warmer months for a modern color block look or a cream blouse for a more classic feel.  Either way, I would finish it off with some high heels either platform, wedge a stacked heel like the one shown.
