 I had the opportunity to catch up with an old childhood friend this weekend.  We have been friends since kindergarten and as we grew older, we lost touch throughout the years.  I remember going over to her house to play after school many times.  One of my fondest memories was when we were hanging out on their patio area and I remember climbing on some pipes near the ceiling like they were monkey bars.  They were steel pipes painted white (or off-white).  Looking back, we were lucky that none of the pipes broke.  And I'm pretty sure those pipes would not be able to hold my weight today.

But I digress.  It was good to talk to her and catch up.  We brought out daughters along as well who are within a year or two of each other.  Hopefully, our daughters will become as good friends as their mothers did.
