Is there a certain perfume or scent that takes you back to a specific memory?  For me, the smell of sunblock takes reminds me of carefree summers and Benefit's Maybe Baby reminds me of my transition into adulthood.  I think I was either in my senior year of high school or just graduated Maybe Baby came out.  I was walking through Macy's and the Benefit counter girl was handing out samples.  I took the sample and went on my way.  However, the scent pulled me in so much I had to come back and buy a bottle.  It became my signature scent for those formidable few years.

Maybe Baby will forever remind me of my youth and the people I loved who were in it: my grandmother who is no longer with us, my family, my friends and the great memorable summer after high school.  Perhaps we will meet again someday, maybe baby...
